Course Overview
The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course is designed to help students from non-English speaking backgrounds develop the essential English skills they need for success in vocational and higher education. This course will guide you through fun and engaging activities to improve your spoken and written English, preparing you for future academic studies.
Our courses focus on building practical academic English skills that are often different from everyday English. You’ll develop confidence in areas like academic reading, writing, listening, speaking, and research, so that understanding lectures, writing essays, and giving presentations feels second nature. You’ll also learn to take responsibility for your progress, preparing you to succeed with little extra support from teachers.
Entry Requirement
Minimum age requirement is 18 years of age. Students should be of IELTS 5 level of CEFR B1 level to be eligible to enroll in the course (Contact us to discuss pathways to the course)

- All students are required to achieve a minimum of 80% attendance and satisfactory academic results as per below.
- General English: Students need to complete a score of 60% overall and an individual overall score of no less than 50% for each level.
- English for Academic Purposes: See the details as per the table below.
